The British Columbia Institute of Technology is different than a college or university, it offers practical, applied education with instructors who have direct, hands-on experience in their field. Its largest campus in Burnaby is home to hundreds of specialized learning spaces, including classrooms, shops, labs, simulators, broadcast studios, green roofs, energy grids, forests, and waterways.

Due to the size and proximity of the buildings within campus, practical and simple wayfinding and identification signage needed to be in place for students and visitors to quickly get to their destinations. Signs were produced in accordance with the BCIT branding guidelines, building nomenclature and technical specifications.

Working with Public, we created multiple modular wayfinding signs around the campus that needed to be weather-resistant and “future-proof” with changeable graphics.
