Set in tropical gardens with ocean views, this private residence development is steps away from Honua Kai Resort & Spa. Luana Garden Villas uses contemporary Hawaiian architecture to connect to nature, with choice traditional elements to reflect the surroundings of West Maui. 

This was a unique project for us, from developing the initial concepts to ensuring multiple shipments arrived on site in Hawaii on schedule. The anticipated community vision including visual design, colour and material palettes needed to be particular to match the ambience of the landscape. Our challenge was to incorporate these into real-world products that not only reflected the quality of the project, but that could be shipped and assembled on site with ease. We developed modular systems, and worked with on-site contractors to ensure their success. We produced a full set of finish samples for client review as well as for product testing, even down to the timber post and rope details to guarantee they would stand up to the Hawaiian seasons and meet client expectations.
