At 1084m elevation, The Rendezvous Lodge is located on the slopes at the Whistler Blackcomb Ski Resort. Having recently underwent renovations and expansion, they required a large array of signage, including exterior, wayfinding and menus.

This project took an extensive team effort in coordinating with the site and multiple site visits in order to incorporate the details needed to fully discover the design intent the customer envisioned. There were various unique challenges with this project, a major one being able to develop a secure mounting system for the steel panels above the stairwell and the cafeteria menu boards. The extreme conditions the exterior signage would be exposed to was another critical factor and our ability to identify and use suitable materials for the elements came into good use for this project.
