Innovative Signage has been manufacturing and installing signage for many of the BCAA offices from all around the Lower Mainland to Penticton and even over to Vancouver Island. These signage packages are a great example of how creativity in signage can help establish a unique office environment while keeping a cohesive look and reinforcing the company’s brand over multiple locations. From vinyl maps to dimensional icons, each office is tailored to its surroundings. When BCAA was looking to expand and open a new office, Innovative Signage was there to assist in taking the ideas to reality.
Broadmead Village is the commercial shopping centre for residents and visitors in Saanich on Vancouver Island. Innovative Signage was brought onboard in the beginning of the re-branding efforts to design a comprehensive signage package that complimented the new architecture, a more west coast feel while keeping a flavor of its history – including all of the branding signage, monument, directional, directory, and retail tenant guidelines. We were also responsible for reviewing and approving each individual tenant’s signage proposals to ensure they abide by the guidelines provided. After almost a year of design work and a truly a collaborative effort with the client on designing, manufacturing and installing signage, we were able to deliver on the original “integrative” intent.
Innovative Signage was approached to produce and install the signage for the Anvil Centre and Office Tower in New Westminster. With some design consultations and alterations for manufacturing, shop drawings were created. There was a wide variety of signs including exterior branding signs, parkade signs, interior directionals, amenity room names, room insert signs, stair and emergency signs. These ranged from high-end polished aluminum letters to standard code signage. This large project was broken into two phases with the Anvil Centre followed by the Office Tower. Our team managed to work with the client with demanding timelines and produced and installed all of the signage as well as reacted to deficiencies in time for the grand opening.
When the Rendezvous Lodge in Whistler underwent renovations and expansions, which included the need for a large array of signage, Innovative Signage was a natural fit. We produced and installed all the signage from the exterior name and directional signs to all of the interior signs from retail and washroom to cafeteria and the newly added Rendezvous Café. This project took an extensive team effort in coordinating with the site and multiple site visits in order to incorporate the details needed for shop drawings for manufacturing and installation. A major challenge was developing a secure mounting system for the steel panels above the stairwell and for the Cafeteria menu boards.
