In May 1976, Dann obtained a BA in Business Administration from Capilano College / BCIT North Vancouver / Burnaby B.C. In 1980 he attended SFU Executive School of Business in Burnaby, B.C. and received a diploma in Business Administration & Business Strategy Planning.

He is President of Ampco Manufacturers Inc., Ampco Grafix, Innovative Signage dba John Peachey and Associates- and MTM Pacific Limited Hong Kong, ROC

With Ampco Manufacturers Inc. since 1976, Dann became President in 1995 and has succeeded in leading the companies to profitable growth every year. Ampco Manufacturers Inc., has been voted as one of the Top 15 Best Managed Companies in British Columbia for the past 3 years through Deloitte’s’ Best Managed Companies of Canada competition. With the acquisition of John Peachey Innovative Signage in October 2013, Dann increased the range of signage solutions that his companies are able to offer. He is actively involved in the company and is responsible for the proper execution of business strategies.

Dann has served under many NFP organizations including B.C. Sports Hall of Fame, B.C. Sports Hall of Fame’s Foundation Board, CKNW Orphan’s Fund, First Tee of Greater Vancouver, and is a Director with Challenger Baseball of B.C.

A proven administrator, he has provided exceptional leadership for over 38 years in the manufacturing field.  A strong communicator who brings clients together with his companies in order to provide “value added” products and services. With his strong interpersonal skills he has the ability to work directly with clients, suppliers and internal staff and understands what it takes to provide excellent customer service to our valued clients.

Dann works with his management teams and provides leadership and guidance to ensure that clearly written objectives are met. He can be reached most week days at Innovative Signage.

Scott has a Project Management degree and is working towards his Project Management Professional certification. He has been a Project Manager for the past 7 years.

He began his career working in sheet metal and fabrication for 7 years. After that he ran a Foam Injection division for a company in the medical industry. He has also worked as a Project Manager in Sculptural Themed environments and Digital Interactive retail environments.
                       
He has successfully managed in excess of $18 million in projects a year.

With his diverse background and outstanding communication and project management skills, he is a valued member of the Innovative team, ensuring the timely delivery of our projects.

Glen joined the company in 2015 and with over 20 years of direct experience in the signage industry, is a welcome addition to our team.

He has worked in every aspect of the sign making process including new business development, sales, estimating, design, production, installation and project management.

During his time as a Senior Estimator, he created and managed estimates for large scope sign projects where the typical proposal was in excess of $1 million.

Glen has extensive design skills and is proficient with a variety of graphic design software, including 3D architectural rendering programs, Vector programs, Sign Lab and many other software programs.

His past Project Management experience encompasses the full job cycle including liaising with stakeholders, coordinating sign permits, scheduling, resource management and site checks ensuring timely deliveries.

He was also responsible for developing roll out strategies for multi-disciplinary projects and post installation quality control inspections.

Mark has been with John Peachey Innovative Signage for over 20 years. He came to the company with a background of woodworking & joinery. He obtained an Associate Degree in that field from BCIT in the mid 1980’s.

Initially starting as a shop worker for John Peachey Innovative Signage, he fabricated & installed beautiful, creative signs working closely with John Peachey.

After a few years of dedicated and outstanding work, he was promoted to Production Manager and has now been the Operations Manager for the past 15 years.

He is intimately involved in all major signage projects and oversees each stage of the process from original concept to design, fabrication and finishing. He also oversees the day to day operations of our various production departments. He is ably assisted by the production department managers.

His skill set includes but is not limited to, Production Management, Product Design, Technical Drawing, Construction Drawing, IT Management, Woodworking, Joinery and Lighting design.

Mark takes enormous pride in the quality & creativity of the signs that are produced daily by the talented team at Innovative Signage.

Julia joined Innovative Signage in 2014 with over 15 years of results oriented experience as a Controller and Office Manager.

She has a wealth of expertise in all aspects of administration and full cycle accounting. This includes payroll and benefit administration; year-end financial statements, schedules and analysis; credit management, cash flow management; customer project tracking, change orders and billing.

During her career she has implemented inventory tracking systems, conducted due diligence financial analysis to assist with key business strategies and operational decisions; contract review.

Since joining the Innovative Signage team, Julia has initiated various internal procedures to streamline administrative and accounting procedures, resulting in improved efficiencies and productivity.

Among these improvements, Julia developed and is implementing new procedures for producing sales estimates, quotes and job tracking in order to increase operational efficiency.

With her bright personality, strong work ethic, Julia is a valued member of the team.

Donna is a highly effective Visual Sales and Marketing individual with over 25 years of experience in media related sales, signage and production.

Her background in advertising and managing both a Regional and National Sign Shop for The Hudson’s Bay Company provided a natural transition into Architectural Signage. Donna has solid experience with both large and small signage projects.

As Senior Account Manager, she enjoys working with all levels of management and has an impressive variety of clients. Her excellent organizational and communication skill, combined with an exacting attention to detail, continues to attract new business, while nurturing existing key accounts.

With a Bachelor of Interior Design from Kwantlen College and previous signage experience, Brooks joined the Innovative Signage team in 2010.

Jody Vajda, Account Manager

Jody joined the Innovative Signage team in 2013 but began her career at Ampco Manufacturer’s at a young age. She worked a summer job in the Dark Room developing films for screen printing and spent summers working in the Art Department.

After graduating, Jody studied Fine Arts and English at UBC before travelling around the world for two years. Upon her return, she again went to work for Ampco, first in Estimating, then in Sales and finally in Administration.

She went on to study architecture and drafting, then worked for Kal Kovaks of North Vancouver, drafting industrial & commercial buildings for a year before stepping away to raise her two children.

With her artist’s eye, Jody enjoys the challenge of creating beautiful signage that is simple, elegant and functional.

Her well rounded experience and diverse skill set, along with terrific problem solving skills, allows her to find ways to make the seemingly impossible, possible.

Jody has a successful a track record in successfully managing projects both large and small.

Amanda joined Innovative Signage in June 2008, integrating her diverse skill set with that of the design teams’. With a degree in Graphic Design for Marketing, combined with her background in interdisciplinary design, she moved up the ranks from Junior Designer to Design Manager in a short period of time.

Her keen eye for detail and passion for creative problem solving inspires her team to bring innovative ideas to life. Amanda works closely with clients and their designers, to take design ideas from concept to reality.

Amanda has been involved in every major signage project that we have produced during the past 8 years, resulting in an extraordinary depth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of signage design, materials and production.

Emmett joined the Innovative Signage team as Installation Manager in February 2014. He previously worked for Artisan Signs in Ireland for over 5 years before moving to Canada. There he was responsible for large signage programs for national brands including Google, Urban Outfitters and Voda Phone.

His has excellent project management and client liaison skills, which allows him to deliver to tight deadlines without a fuss.

Extremely practical, thorough and considerate in the application of his work, Emmett also combines strong creative and problem solving abilities. This ensures that he excels at executing every installation he is presented with, no matter how challenging.

Emmett was responsible for the installation at one of our recent and most challenging projects from an installation perspective, the Anvil Centre, a multi-use civic facility in New Westminster. He is capably supported by Galen Benson, our Installation Coordinator and our team of experienced installers.
